Caution: Beware of Candidates Displaying Printed UTME Result Slips, Warns JAMB

JAMB has cautioned against the use of printed result slips for the recently concluded 2024 UTME, emphasizing that the results are not available in paper format as circulated on social media.

According to the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the only legitimate way to check the UTME result is by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered for the exam.

Benjamin clarified that the results are not accessible on the board’s website at present. Candidates are advised to avoid visiting cybercafés or relying on third-party services for result checking and instead use the official method provided by JAMB.

While a considerable number of candidates have successfully accessed their results, those facing difficulties are urged to adhere to the correct procedure for result checking.
