Okposi-Ukwu Community protesting the killing of Master Ebuka Chukwu in FGC Okposi

Residents of Okposi-Ukwu community in Ohaozara Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, held a peaceful protest on Sunday following the tragic death of Master Ebuka Chukwu, a Senior Secondary School (SSS 2) student at Federal Government College, Okposi.

Carrying placards with messages like “Who killed Ebuka?”, “Evil people are running FGC Okposi,” and “IGP, stop the killing and bring justice,” the protesters demanded answers and urgent government intervention.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Mr. Collins Agwu expressed deep sorrow and outrage, calling for an immediate autopsy to determine the true cause of Ebuka’s death. He alleged that the student was killed before being thrown into a river in an attempt to conceal the crime. Agwu also questioned why a staff member of the school, identified as Mr. Danjuma, allegedly instructed Ebuka and other students to confront hoodlums.
