Police Successfully Rescue Three Abducted UNICAL Students

Police authorities in Calabar have confirmed the rescue of three students kidnapped about three weeks ago.

Irene Ugbo, the Police PRO of the Cross River State Police Command, stated that the students were rescued at a creek in Calabar, with no ransom paid.

She emphasized the collaborative efforts of the police and the Department of State Security (DSS) in ensuring the successful rescue.

Gunmen who stormed the university campus had demanded N14 million before releasing the students.
