Rotary Club Encourages students to strive for Excellence and uphold strong moral values.

Students of Community Senior High School, Wasimi, Ikeja, have been urged to remain focused on their studies and maintain disciplined behavior.

Dr. Wole Kukoyi, District Governor of Rotary International District 9111, which includes Lagos and Ogun States, delivered this message during the unveiling of the school’s Outstanding Student Roll of Honour plaque and billboard.

Dr. Kukoyi, who also denounced bullying and other inappropriate behaviors, was joined by Olalekan Olubajo, President of the Rotary Club of Maryland, and other club members.

The Rotary Club also visited the school library, with Olubajo promising to transform it into a state-of-the-art facility and upgrade the school’s ICT center.

Additionally, Dr. Aremu Iyinoluwa, Senior Registrar at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), provided a lecture on menstrual hygiene and sickle cell disease. Following the lecture, the Rotary Club distributed free sanitary pads to female students.
