Nollywood actress and producer, Toyin Abraham, commended the organisers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for the success of the recent edition. Despite criticisms surrounding the event, particularly concerning the snub of Funke Akindele’s film, ‘A Tribe Called Judah,’ which failed to win any of its five nominations despite its significant box office success, Abraham praised the AMVCA as the “best and realest ever.”

Taking to her Instagram page, Abraham expressed her appreciation to Busola Tejumola and Africa Magic for their efforts. This positive sentiment comes shortly after Abraham reached out to Akindele, acknowledging their past rivalry and expressing a desire to move past it. Reflecting on their history of competition, Abraham emphasized that age and wisdom have led her to realize that healthy competition is possible without negativity.
