Comedian Officer Woos Appeals for Help as His Mother’s Only Brother Has Been Missing for a Month

Nigerian comedian and skitmaker Officer Woos has expressed deep concern over the worsening insecurity in the country, revealing that it has personally affected his family.

He shared that his mother’s only brother has been missing for a month after failing to reach home while traveling.

On his X account, Officer Woos wrote: “My mom’s only blood brother has been missing for a month now. He was on his way home and never got home. For how long are we going to continue living like this? Scary times.”

The comedian lamented that citizens are now living in constant fear due to terrorism and rampant insecurity.

Other Nigerian celebrities have also reacted to the escalating violence. Actress Funke Akindele, in particular, expressed sorrow over a recent attack on a church in Kwara State. She wrote via X: “Woke up to see a livestream video of people being attacked inside a church in Kwara. This is sad and disturbing. I wept seeing that old woman who couldn’t walk well running for safety.”
