‘I Can’t Repeat the Same Outfit’ – Singer Magixx

Nigerian singer Alexander Adelabu, better known as Magixx, has candidly shared the challenges he encounters as a celebrity.

In a conversation with Chude Jideonwo, the Mavin Records signee revealed that juggling his hectic schedule as an artist and meeting public expectations has placed him under significant pressure.

He expressed frustration at being unable to repeat outfits due to public scrutiny and expectations.

Magixx elaborated, “There’s a unique journey to every individual’s destiny. In navigating mine, I’ve encountered various challenges… Dealing with public acceptance, family matters, accepting my current situation while striving for improvement, and continually meeting public demands.

“It’s overwhelming. As a songwriter, I still have to show up for video calls, attend to family calls, maintain personal relationships, and perform at events outside Lagos every weekend. It’s a tremendous responsibility, yet often overlooked. Many people are unaware of the pressure we artists face. For example, I can’t repeat the same outfit. This will be the last time you see me wearing this outfit on social media. I have to carefully consider what to wear each day. These are concerns that ordinary people don’t typically face.
