I’m a proud Nigerian, not a Gabonese – Zack Orji

Nigerian actor Zack Orji refuted allegations suggesting he hails from Gabon after a podcast video circulated widely on Monday.

The video seemed to indicate that the actor was born in Gabon, potentially making him a citizen of the Central African country.

Orji clarified that his father’s profession involved frequent international travel, leading to his birth taking place in Gabon. Nonetheless, Orji has unequivocally asserted his Nigerian roots and dismissed any notion of being from Gabon.

Orji vehemently denied the recent false claim that he declared himself as being from Gabon and not Nigerian. He clarified that he is a proud Nigerian with both of his parents also being Nigerian.

He expressed frustration at the continuous spread of such deceitful information, emphasizing that it is baseless and untrue.

Hailing from the Coal City State of Enugu, I proudly embrace my Nigerian roots and heritage. Let it be known that divine justice will be served upon the individual responsible for spreading such falsehoods.
