Lagos Police Spokesman Criticizes Ayo Maff Over ‘Indecent’ Lyrics
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin has criticized rising artist Ayo Maff for the “indecent” lyrics in his new song, “Last Week.”
The song’s opening verse boasts about using Canadian Loud, a potent synthetic cannabis, and contacting his dealer by Saturday after running out of the drug.
In response to a viral snippet of the song on X, SP Hundeyin expressed concern over the lyrics, highlighting the connection between drug abuse and crime.
He commented, “What does he do on Mondays and Saturdays? Listen closely.
“As Asa sang, there’s a fire on the mountain and no one is fleeing…
“Fact: Many young people in prison today wouldn’t be there if not for drug abuse. Drugs are a precursor to many problems.”
