Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon loses $10,000 bet to Zlatan Ibile as Spain defeats England in UEFA Euro 2024 Final

Nigerian music executive, Soso Soberekon, lost a $10,000 bet to singer Zlatan Ibile after Spain defeated England in the UEFA Euro 2024 final on Sunday night. Earlier, Soberekon and Zlatan had each bet $10,000 in favor of England and Spain, respectively, as captured in a video shared on the singer’s Instagram.

However, Spain emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline, securing their record fourth UEFA Euro title. NIGERIA NEWS 247 reported that Spain took the lead two minutes into the second half, with substitute Cole Palmer equalizing for England in the 73rd minute. Nonetheless, a goal by Mikel Oyarzabal in the 86th minute sealed Spain’s victory.

Following the match, Soberekon expressed his disappointment with a crying emoji on his Instagram story.
