Nollywood Actor Taye Arimoro Alleges Assault by Peggy Ovire and Crew on Set

Nollywood actor Taye Arimoro has accused fellow actress Peggy Ovie and her team of physically assaulting him on a movie set.

According to Arimoro, the incident occurred on Tuesday night when he attempted to leave the set after allegedly exceeding the agreed working hours. In a viral social media video, he displayed injuries to his lips and gums and claimed that his car tires were deflated.

Arimoro further alleged that Peggy Ovie instructed her driver to block his vehicle to prevent him from leaving. He said, “I say I want to go home, they don’t want me to go home. Guys look at my mouth, because I said I want to go home. This woman and her people are doing the most.”

No official response has yet been issued by Peggy Ovie or her team regarding the allegations.
