Portable Calls Out Davido for Failing to Deliver Promised Verse

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has called out Davido on social media for not delivering the verse he had promised him.

The issue stems from a dispute between the two that took place in Atlanta. In June 2024, Portable accused Davido of giving him bad advice during a dinner they had in Atlanta, leading to a fallout between them. Following the incident, Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram.

On Sunday, Portable shared his latest release on his Instagram page, explaining that the song was originally supposed to feature a verse from Davido. He wrote, “Na who helps you be your helper; who promises you fit change mind. As @davido no gree give me verse on this song, I don kuku drop myself. Star. Don’t beg to shine. Who go help you no go stress you.”
