Simi Blames Negligence and Lack of Value for Life for Jos School Building Collapse

Songstress Simisola Kosoko, famously known as Simi, has expressed her deep concern over the tragic collapse of a secondary school building in Busa Buji, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. According to reports from nigeria news 247, the incident resulted in the loss of 22 students’ lives and left 132 others injured in the capital city of Jos on Friday.

Taking to her social media platform, Simi shared her heartfelt reaction, attributing the disaster to negligence and a profound disregard for life prevailing in Nigeria. She voiced her distress over the trivial things that people in Nigeria often lose their lives over, describing the situation as profoundly distressing.

In her message, the singer wrote, “All those young lives lost just like that due to negligence. The most disheartening aspect of Nigeria is the lack of regard for human life. The reasons people lose their lives here are simply heartbreaking.”
