WWE Icon John Cena Announces Retirement
John Cena, a 16-time world champion and WWE legend, has revealed his plans to retire from in-ring competition in 2025. Making the announcement at WWE Money in the Bank in Toronto, Canada, Cena confirmed that his final appearances would include the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Sporting a ‘John Cena Farewell Tour 2025’ theme, Cena reflected on his more than two decades in WWE, highlighting both prosperous times and challenges. He expressed gratitude for WWE’s current success and mentioned his desire to remain involved when Raw moves to Netflix in January.
Cena, who debuted in WWE in 2002 and transitioned to a part-time role since 2018 to focus on his movie career, emphasized his appreciation for the fans who have supported him throughout his career.
