Just In: Tinubu Set to Embark on Official Visit to the Netherlands
A statement released by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed that President Tinubu will engage in high-level talks with the Prime Minister during his visit to the Netherlands. Additionally, he will hold separate meetings with His Royal Majesty, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima of the Kingdom.
Queen Maxima serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).
The President’s agenda in the Netherlands also includes participation in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum. This forum aims to foster collaboration and partnerships between conglomerates and organizations from both countries, particularly in agriculture and water management, to develop innovative solutions for sustainable farming practices. Discussions with Dutch officials will also focus on their renowned expertise in port management operations.
Following his engagements in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, scheduled for April 28-29. The forum, themed Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development, will bring together over 1,000 leaders from business, government, and academia. During this event, President Tinubu will advance discussions in line with his Renewed Hope Agenda for the country.
Accompanying the President will be several ministers and senior government officials.
