President Bola Tinubu Chairs FEC Meeting, Pays Tribute to Late Ahmed Gusua

President Bola Tinubu is currently chairing the Federal Executive Council meeting at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja. This marks the 14th session since the council’s inauguration last August. Before the meeting began, a minute’s silence was observed to honor the late Ahmed Gusua, a former council member and Deputy Governor of the Old Sokoto State, who passed away on May 25, 2024.

Today’s FEC meeting follows the decision taken last Wednesday to defer consideration of a memorandum concerning several critical projects under the purview of the Federal Ministry of Works.

In attendance are Vice President Kassim Shettima, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Head of Civil Service of the Federation Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and other council members.
