BREAKING: Governor Fubara Nominates Caretaker Chairmen for 23 LGAs [FULL LIST]

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has nominated caretaker chairmen for the state’s 23 local government areas. He submitted the list to the three-member Rivers State House of Assembly, led by Speaker Victor Jumbo.

This development comes amid renewed political tensions, as former council chairmen have refused to vacate their offices following the expiration of their tenures.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday night by the Clerk of the House, G.M. Gillis-West, the Assembly has invited the nominees for screening on Wednesday at 8:00 am.
