Breaking: Motorcyclist fatally crushed by truck in Ondo.

A tragic incident unfolded on Wednesday in Ondo town, the administrative center of Ondo West Local Government Area, Ondo State, as a truck fatally collided with a motorcyclist.

The middle-aged motorcyclist, yet to be identified, reportedly crashed into the truck while allegedly riding recklessly.

The fatal accident occurred at the Oke-Igbala junction in the Odojomu area of the town. An eyewitness, identified as Lomi, stated that the victim was traveling at high speed before the collision.

Another resident, speaking anonymously, recounted witnessing the motorcyclist abruptly veering into the path of the oncoming truck.

Despite efforts to avoid the collision, both parties couldn’t prevent the tragedy. The deceased’s remains were subsequently transported to the mortuary, while the truck driver and his assistant fled the scene following the incident.
