Governor Uzodinma Sacks Civil Service Commission Boss in Major Shake-Up

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has suspended Dr. Julie C. Onyeukwu, the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission.

The suspension was announced in a press statement released by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.

According to the statement, the Governor approved the immediate suspension of the Chairman, who has been instructed to hand over all government property in her possession to the Permanent Secretary or the most senior official in the commission.

The statement did not provide details on the reasons behind the suspension.
