Ibadan: My Elevation is a Call to Greater Responsibility – Senator Alli to Olubadan

Chairman of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has described his recent elevation by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin, as a call to greater responsibility.

In a statement shared with NIGERIA NEWS 247 on Friday, Alli expressed gratitude for his promotion, noting that it would inspire him to further serve the people of Ibadanland.

Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, was elevated to the rank of Ekaarun Balogun of Ibadanland.

“I am deeply humbled by this recognition and elevation by our esteemed Olubadan,” he said. “It is a call to greater responsibility, and I assure our people that I will continue to contribute positively to the progress and unity of Ibadanland.”
