Police Arrest Suspected Vehicle and Motorcycle Thief in Kaduna

The Police Command in Kaduna State announced the arrest of a suspect found with 30 different fabricated master keys for vehicles and motorcycles. ASP Mansir Hassan, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed the arrest to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Kaduna.

Hassan stated, “The suspect specialises in vehicle and motorcycle theft. On July 20, at about 0230 hours, our personnel received a distress call about a shop being burgled. Upon receiving the information, our operatives were immediately dispatched to the area.”

Upon arriving at the scene, the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Zahradeenee Suleiman, a resident of Galma Road, Tsugugi area of Sabon Gari Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was apprehended inside the shop.

“During the search, approximately 30 different sizes of keys for vehicles and motorcycles were recovered, including two locally fabricated master keys,” Hassan reported.

He added that the suspect is known for specialising in vehicle and motorcycle theft. Hassan also mentioned that the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution upon the completion of the investigation. (NAN)
