Aloy Ejimakor Urges Tinubu to Prioritize Justice and Fairness

Aloy Ejimakor, lead counsel for Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has cautioned President Bola Tinubu amid the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests and Kanu’s continued detention.

Ejimakor warned that those advising Tinubu to use force against protesters and to continue Kanu’s trial and detention are jeopardizing his political future.

The constitutional lawyer emphasized the importance of justice and fairness for all Nigerians.In a post on X, Ejimakor wrote, “Dear President Tinubu: Anybody advising you to use force against #EndBadGovernance protest and to persist in the #UnfairTrial and detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not doing you any favor but is actually pushing you to destroy yourself politically.

Lead with justice and fair play for all.”Kanu remains in detention by the Department of State Services (DSS), despite court orders for his release.

Despite several calls and efforts for a political resolution, Tinubu’s administration has not yielded to such pressures.Meanwhile, Nigerians continue to express their grievances over hunger and hardship in the country.
