1. Suspected kidnappers have attacked the Immaculate Conception Minor Seminary School in Ivianokpodi, Agenebode, Etsako East Local Government Area. The gunmen killed a member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) assigned to the school and abducted three students.

2. The Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, has directed the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) to charge Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who gave an injection to Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, before his death. Magistrate C.A. Shotobi ruled that Ogedengbe was neither a licensed nurse nor an authorised medical practitioner, making her actions unlawful.
