BREAKING: Tinubu Arrives in Abuja After Two-Week Leave in the UK
President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a two-week working leave in the United Kingdom. He arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at approximately 7:20 PM, where he was welcomed by senior members of his administration.
Tinubu initially departed for his working vacation on Wednesday, October 2, as part of his annual leave, as stated by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. On October 11, he left the UK for Paris, France, for an undisclosed engagement, according to his Senior Special Assistant on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari.
Upon his arrival, he was greeted by several officials, including Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and ministers Wale Edun (Finance) and Abubakar Atiku Bagudu (Budget and Economic Planning), as well as Nuhu Ribadu (National Security Adviser) and Abdullahi Ganduje (National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC).
President Tinubu is expected to resume his duties at the presidency on Monday.
