BREAKING: Tinubu Holds Closed-Door Meeting with APC Governors

President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) at the State House in Abuja.

While the agenda has not been officially confirmed, it is likely related to the planned nationwide protest starting on August 1st.

Imo State Governor and PGF Chairman, Hope Uzodimma, led the delegation, which included Nigeria Governors Forum Chairman, Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman of Kwara State, and other governors like Philip Shuaibu (Edo State), Bassey Otu (Cross River), Hycinth Alia (Benue State), Uba Sani (Kaduna State), and Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi State).

National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, along with Finance and Budget & Economic Planning Ministers Wale Edun and Abubakar Bagudu, were also seen arriving at the President’s office.

This meeting follows an earlier Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) meeting on Wednesday evening and the cancellation of the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting that was scheduled for Thursday noon.
