CSP Benjamin Hundeyin Appointed as New Nigeria Police Force Spokesperson

The Nigeria Police Force has appointed Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Benjamin Hundeyin as its new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), following the redeployment of his predecessor, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, to the Delta State Police Command.

Adejobi’s redeployment comes on the heels of his recent promotion to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).

Before his new appointment, CSP Hundeyin served as the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Lagos State Command, where he earned recognition for his effective communication and public engagement.

According to TVC News, police authorities confirmed that the appointment is part of routine administrative changes aimed at enhancing career progression and optimising manpower within the force. They also emphasized that the redeployment is neither punitive nor controversial.

Hundeyin brings both experience and academic depth to his new role. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language from Lagos State University and a Master’s degree in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan.
