Ekiti Gov Oyebanji Recalls Information Commissioner

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has reinstated Mr. Taiwo Olatunbosun as Commissioner for Information, just days after dissolving his cabinet.

The recall, effective immediately, was communicated in a letter dated August 18 and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Habaibat Adubiaro.

This move follows the governor’s decision on August 11 to dissolve the state executive council, retaining only six commissioners to maintain continuity in key ministries.

Governor Oyebanji explained that the cabinet reshuffle aims to inject fresh energy into governance while advancing his “shared prosperity” agenda.
