GovernanceInNigeria Protesters

Protesters have vowed to continue their demonstrations until President Bola Tinubu meets their demands. They have urged the president to address their issues to bring an immediate end to the protests.

Damilare Adenola, Director of Mobilisation for the Take It Back Movement, criticized the court orders that confine protesters to specific areas, calling them an aberration.

He stated, “The oppression under the president’s leadership has gone on for too long. Our presence today signifies that we will not tolerate this any longer. We will remain on the streets unless President Tinubu responds to our demands. We want to see the president take to the streets as we have.”

Ayoola Babalola, a leader of the Take It Back Movement, condemned the heavy security presence around the Moshood Abiola premises, describing it as an embarrassment to the nation. He assured that the protesters would not be intimidated.
