State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Baba Dantiye, announced the adjustment on Sunday, stating that the new curfew hours are from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The change aims to restore normalcy in the state.

Dantiye extended Governor Abba Yusuf’s condolences to families affected by the violence and property damage from the protests. He also encouraged residents to adhere to the revised curfew and assured that it would be adjusted further based on improvements in security conditions.

The governor has appealed to citizens to pray for peace and stability in the state and nationwide. The government will continue to monitor the situation to ensure public safety.
