1. Crime: Nadeem Anjarwalla, the Binance Regional Manager for Africa, who escaped from a Nigerian detention facility on March 22, has been apprehended in Kenya. He was reportedly arrested by the Kenyan Police Service while hiding in the East African country.
2. Presidency: President Bola Tinubu emphasized the significant influx of foreign funds used to finance illegal mining and terrorism across Africa. He called for stronger regional cooperation and institution-building to tackle the growing threat of terrorism on the continent.
3. Electricity: The Federal Government has pledged to divest ownership of the five electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos) as power outages persist. Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, cited the lack of technical capacity among banks and the Asset Management Company (AMCON), which have been managing these DisCos due to their failure to repay loans.

Crime: Controversial cross-dresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has appealed against the six-month imprisonment imposed on him by the Federal High Court in Lagos for charges of abuse of naira.
