Oluremi Tinubu Pays Condolence Visit to Saraki Family in Lagos
The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, paid a condolence visit to the family of former Senate President Bukola Saraki ahead of the funeral of their matriarch, Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, in Lagos.
While consoling the family, Mrs. Tinubu conveyed that her visit, with the permission of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was to express their love and support.
“We are one family. You know that, politics aside, the President will always look out for you,” said Tinubu. “Mama lived a good life. I know it hurts so much, but we thank God for the good life she lived.”
The First Lady also acknowledged the support she received from Senator Bukola Saraki during her time in the upper chamber and prayed for the repose of the departed soul.
In response, Saraki expressed his appreciation for the visit, describing the First Lady as a passionate and compassionate woman.
“You always see the bigger picture. I know you are a passionate woman full of compassion, and I know you are here with the knowledge of the President. I thank you very much,” Saraki said.
