Ondo Police Confirm Death of Kajola DPO, CSP Nimrod Anaka

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the passing of CSP Nimrod Anaka, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Kajola Police Station, located in Odigbo Local Government Area.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Ayanlade Olushola, confirmed the development on Wednesday during a statement to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

While full details surrounding the officer’s death remain unclear, Olushola stated that only a medical examination can determine the actual cause.

“I can confirm that the DPO, CSP Anaka, has died. However, only a medical expert can determine the cause of his death,” Olushola said, adding that further details such as the officer’s age and state of origin will be released in due course.

According to reports, CSP Anaka reportedly fell ill suddenly and died on Tuesday while being rushed to a hospital for treatment.

The news of his death has left officers at the Kajola Police Station in mourning, with sources confirming that his remains have been deposited at a mortuary.
