Peter Obi pays last respect to the late Nollywood Star, Junior Pope

After his engagements in Kenya yesterday, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in 2023 general elections,  Mr Peter Obi arrived in Enugu State this morning to pay his last respects to the late Nollywood Star, John Obumneme Odonwodo, Junior Pope, in his hometown, Ukehe, and also to personally and sincerely condole with his family.

Nigeria News 247 gathered that Mr Peter Obi was in Kenya yesterday to honor an invitation to the Inaugural Colloquium on Governance, Trade and African Unity where he delivered a Keynote Address on Fiscal Discipline in Governance: Strategies for Economic Stability and Growth in Africa.

“We must, henceforth, stop investing in consumption and start investing in production for the economic growth and development of Africa. By so doing, we will be able to build a New and better Africa that will be beneficial to every African and that will rightfully take its place among other developed continents of the world“, he said.

Obi condole also with Junior Pope’s colleagues in the Nollywood creative family. He prays God to comfort the entire family and grant them, and all of us who mourn him, the fortitude to bear his very sad irreplaceable loss. He also prayed God to grant him eternal rest in heaven.
