The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Tuesday, advised Africa’s wealthiest man, Aliko Dangote, to seek divine guidance as the crisis surrounding his refinery business is far from over.

Primate Ayodele emphasized that seeking God’s intervention is crucial for Dangote to ensure the continuity of his refinery operations. In a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele warned that unforeseen adversaries would challenge Dangote’s efforts.

The prophet recounted how he previously sent a prominent Northern traditional ruler to warn Dangote about an impending confrontation with the government regarding his refinery, a warning he said was ignored. He stressed that while the refinery could significantly boost Nigeria’s economy, powerful individuals would oppose its success.

Ayodele said, “Before the incident with Dangote, I sent a very prominent Northern traditional ruler to inform him that the government would fight him. I also made a video about it, which has come to pass. Prophecies are meant to warn against impending danger, and perhaps because I am not a Muslim, my warning was ignored.”

He continued, “The storm isn’t over for Dangote; there are those who don’t want the refinery to succeed and will continue to oppose him. Let him seek the face of the Lord to ensure continuity in his refinery, as challenges still lie ahead. Despite the refinery’s potential to boost the economy, some people will not want it to stand.”

Ayodele also criticized the Nigerian government for undermining indigenous companies like Dangote’s, particularly given Nigeria’s struggling economy.

“If the government starts fighting indigenous companies, how do we expect to grow? We need to encourage indigenous companies. The Dangote refinery will create more jobs and is a blessing to Nigeria. The government should support such initiatives. We also have Innoson Motors, and instead of supporting foreign companies, why not fully support Innoson?”

“These are the people who can improve the economy. I see no reason why Dangote should not be licensed or why this multi-billion-naira project should be jeopardized. It’s time to set aside ethnicity and focus on progress. Although Dangote is a businessman and his fuel may not make a serious difference, it will eliminate scarcity and create more jobs for Nigerians,” he concluded.
