Senate Expresses Deep Regret Over Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s Passing

On Saturday, the Senate expressed deep sorrow over the unexpected passing of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

According to NIGERIA NEWS 247, Ubah, who represented the Anambra South Senatorial District, died in London following a brief illness.

In a statement issued by spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu, the Senate described Ubah as an exemplary leader, dedicated public servant, and steadfast advocate for his constituents.

The Senate acknowledged that Ubah’s death is a significant loss for the chamber, Anambra State, and the entire nation.

“Senator Ubah was a prominent businessman and philanthropist before his entry into public service, and his contributions will be profoundly missed,” the statement read.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio offered his heartfelt condolences to Ubah’s family, noting that Ubah will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing and working with him.

“Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was a devoted and passionate legislator who made a lasting impact on our country. His dedication to his constituents and his work in the Senate were truly exceptional.

“The Nigerian Senate extends its deepest sympathies to Senator Ubah’s family, friends, constituents, and the people and government of Anambra State.

“His memory will forever be cherished, and his contributions to our nation’s progress will continue to inspire us,” Akpabio stated.
