Tinubu: Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Represents Hope, Unity, and Prosperity

President Bola Tinubu hailed the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway as a beacon of hope, unity, and prosperity for Nigerians during its inauguration.

The 700 km road will connect Lagos to Cross River, traversing several states. Despite criticism, Works Minister Dave Umahi defended the project’s national interest.

Tinubu emphasized its significance for connectivity, economic growth, and livelihood improvement. He thanked the project team and stressed safety, sustainability, and social responsibility.

Tinubu also addressed concerns over property impact, highlighting the government’s commitment to fair compensation.
