Tinubu’s first anniversary to be low-key, says minister

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced during a World Press conference on Wednesday that the first anniversary of President Bola Tinubu’s term in office will be celebrated in a subdued manner, in consideration of the prevailing conditions in the country.

Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and Abubakar Bagudu, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, joined him.

The Minister highlighted that the subdued celebration was a conscious decision made in light of current national circumstances, demonstrating the government’s awareness of the country’s difficulties.
