1. Niger State School Abduction

Bandits abducted 215 students and 12 teachers from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Papiri, Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State in the early hours of Friday. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Niger State confirmed the incident shortly after the attack.

The Federal Government has ordered the temporary closure of 47 Unity Colleges nationwide.
