1. On Wednesday, the Federal Government announced that food prices are expected to drop within the next 180 days, by January 2025. The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, attributed this to measures such as suspending duties, tariffs, and taxes on importing certain food commodities through land and sea borders.
2. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has declared its intention to push for a N250,000 minimum wage in a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja on Thursday. Benson Upah, the Head of Public Affairs for the NLC, confirmed that Labour would firmly advocate for this proposal during the session.
3.
