1. The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has withheld the results of 215,267 candidates who took the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates due to alleged malpractice. Dr. Amos Dangut, the Head of the National Office (HNO), made this announcement on Monday in Lagos.
2. The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, disclosed on Monday that a man, identified as one of the masterminds behind the crisis in Sudan, was involved in organizing the recent #EndBadGovernance nationwide protests. He noted that the foreigner was traced to the Labour House but later escaped, leaving behind valuable documents related to his activities.
3. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has accused the University of Calabar of fraudulently mobilizing 101 graduates for national service during the 2021, 2022, and 2023 NYSC service years.
