1. Former President Donald Trump was quickly taken off the stage with blood on his head and ear after shots were fired shortly after his rally began in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Trump is currently safe and expected to survive, according to two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the situation.
2. A serving police inspector, identified as Hussaini Umar, was reportedly murdered by suspected members of a ‘one chance’ syndicate in Abuja. The deceased, attached to the Force Intelligence Bureau (FID), had reportedly boarded the gang’s vehicle from Maitama Junction in the city center to his home in Dei-Dei community, FCT, on Friday night.
