1. An Assistant Superintendent of Police, identified only as Owolabi, has been arrested for allegedly defiling a 17-year-old girl in the Ojota area of Lagos. The officer is accused of having carnal knowledge of the girl in his office at the Ojota Police Station.
2. The Katsina State Elders’ Forum has criticized the ‘ineptitude’ of the two ministers of defense, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar and Bello Matawalle, regarding the ongoing problem of banditry in the northwest.
