1. Dangote Group has accused International Oil Companies (IOCs) in Nigeria of deliberately sabotaging its refinery’s plan to roll out petrol, aiming to keep the country dependent on petrol imports.

2. President Bola Tinubu has imposed severe penalties for civil servants who relocate abroad while continuing to draw salaries, as well as those who facilitate such fraudulent activities.

3. The Nigerian Air Force’s Operation Delta Safe has destroyed 13 illegal refining sites and seven Cotonou boats in Rivers, Bayelsa, and Imo states. NAF spokesman AVM Edward Gabkwet stated that air interdictions also dispersed five J-5 buses attempting to siphon suspected crude oil from surface tanks.

9. An early morning fire on Sunday razed the headquarters of Christ Embassy Church in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State. Emergency responders, including the police and Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, managed to extinguish the fire.

10. Organized Labour has warned some governors against giving wrong advice to President Bola Tinubu, which could lead to nationwide resentment and impoverishment. They reiterated that their next actions depend on President Tinubu’s decision on the two proposals from the Tripartite Committee on the National Minimum Wage.
