1. Comrade Abubakar J. Abdullahi, Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) at Kaduna Polytechnic, has declared that all polytechnics in Nigeria will be closed by December 2nd. This decision follows the Federal Government’s failure to fulfill the union’s demands.
2. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Abuja today, Wednesday, for a state visit to France. Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, confirmed that French President Emmanuel Macron extended the invitation to his Nigerian counterpart.
3. The Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) Ltd in Rivers State has begun processing crude oil. Olufemi Soneye, spokesperson for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.
