1. Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), vowed that Ireti Kingibe, the Senator representing the FCT, won’t return to the senate in 2027. This was in response to her earlier claim that FCT residents were not impressed with his performance.

2. Twenty-five people were killed and 127 others injured in two road accidents in Kano State on Monday. Among the survivors, 25 remained unconscious as doctors, nurses, and other supporting staff worked to resuscitate them.
