1. On Friday, there was significant public outcry after minors who had been detained for three months due to their participation in the #EndBadGovernance protest collapsed during their court appearance. Following the session, the Federal High Court in Abuja granted bail to 76 defendants, including 26 minors aged between 14 and 17. Many of the accused appeared unkempt and malnourished.

The Edo State Police Command has arrested a 16-year-old girl, Aisha Suleiman, accused of fatally poisoning her ex-boyfriend Emmanuel and four other young men in the Afashio community of Etsako West Local Government Area. SP Moses Yamu, the state Police Public Relations Officer, reported on Friday that officers from the Jattu Division quickly intervened at the scene and safely transported Suleiman to the police station.

9. Suspected bandits have kidnapped 20 passengers traveling along the road connecting the Mariga and Kontagora local government areas of Niger State. The victims were ambushed by bandits who had set up a blockade and were forced into a nearby forest.

Justice Deinde Dipeolu of the Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the final forfeiture of $2.045 million, along with seven prime properties and share certificates associated with former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor Godwin Emefiele.
