1. A bomb explosion in Gwoza Local Government area of Borno State on Saturday left no fewer than eight people dead and fifteen others injured, the police have confirmed. Borno Police spokesman, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, reported that the tragic incident occurred at about 3:40 PM on Saturday.

2. The Federal Government has denied claims that it is operating four budgets within a fiscal year.
