1. On Tuesday, the Senate expressed concern over the N4.2 billion allocated in the 2024 budget for personnel costs at Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited, noting that the number of workers could not be verified.

2. A woman named Rahimat Salaum has allegedly killed her husband and disposed of the body in an unfinished building in the Pegi area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.

3. The organizers of the planned #EndBadGovernance protest, set for August 1, rejected a proposal from Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun for a confined demonstration.
