1. On Wednesday, aggrieved youths in Benue State set fire to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Sankara, Ukum Local Government Area. This was confirmed by National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, Sam Olumekun.
2. A Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the closure of two companies linked to the alleged $9.6 billion Process and Industrial Development (P&ID) Ltd scandal. The companies, Trinity Biotech Nigeria Limited and Resorts Express Concept Nigeria Ltd, are associated with the fugitive Briton, James Nolan.
