1. Nigeria’s security agencies are investigating four northern politicians for allegedly encouraging the use of Russian flags by #EndBadGovernance protesters. The politicians, from Kano, Kaduna, and Katsina States, are believed to have influenced the incorporation of foreign flags during the protests.
2. In Katsina State, residents gathered in large numbers for a special prayer session, seeking Allah’s intervention amid ongoing economic hardships and insecurity. The session took place on Tuesday at the Katsina Arabic Teachers College playground and saw participation from people of all genders under tight security.
3. The Zamfara State Government on Tuesday refuted claims circulating on social media that N19 billion was budgeted for Governor Dauda Lawal’s kitchenware. The State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Abdulmalik Gajam, labeled the information as misleading during a media briefing in Gusau.
